  • Supreme Court protects Journalists

    A number of persons including Congress politician Shashi Tharoor and some journalists have been blamed for spreading misleading information about the events surrounding the tractor rally on 26th January. They are now being protected by the Supreme court which has stayed their arrest orders. A number of cases have been registered against them in a number of states for misleading the public about what actually happened. 

  • Don’t call us Andolan-Jeevi, say the farmers

    Prime Minister is facing the wrath of the farming community for calling them "andolan-jeevi", accusing them of relying on protests and protesters. Farmers have condemned this term and are seeking an explanation from the government. Some farmers tried to remind the Prime Minister and the country that it is the protests of varying natures in last century that have made India what it is today.

  • New farm laws will pacify the farmers

    ICAR deputy Director General Dr A K Singh has said that new farm laws must pacify the farmers who are protesting against the farm laws. These will allow the farmers to generate more income. Speaking at an horticulture event  he said that farmers will be able to grow more horticulture plants and succeed in horticulture with improved economic conditions.

  • Veggies get expensive, as it gets Chillier in Pune

    Prices of some of the veggies in Pune have gone up as the winter gets chillier. This is due to low supply and increase in demand. Due to chilly weather the veggie crops will be harvested later, thus blocking the supply of fresh veggies and allowing the prices of veggies already at the market to increase.
