Parts of Maharashtra and Bengal to Receive continuous rainfall for next few days: Met Department
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has said that the sky will stay cloudy with moderate rainfall in the Pune-Shivajinagar region for the one week. The weather department has also warned of heavy showers in most north Bengal districts till Tuesday (15 September 2020) owing to an active monsoon trough.
On the other hand, Madhya Pradesh, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan told that extremely heavy rainfall and floods in the last week of August has caused Rs 9,500 crore loss to the state. He informed this to a central team that is assessing the damage caused by the rains.

Indo-China Update: Beijing Hands over 5 Indian Nationals Missing from Arunachal
Amid the Indo-China border tension, India strongly raised the deployment of a large number of troops and military equipment by China along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in eastern Ladakh and conveyed its concern during the talks between external affairs minister S Jaishankar and his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi in Moscow, government sources said on Friday.
Moreover, India and China continue to be locked in a tense stand-off, despite the meeting between Minister S Jaishankar, and Minister Wang Yi. India is right to stand its ground that the Chinese have violated existing protocols on the border.
