    “Over 1.60 lakh Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samridhi Kendras (PMKSKs) are functional in the country at present. The aim behind PMKSKs is to create a ‘One-Stop Shop’ network of more than 2 lakh kendras to ensure that farmers have access to quality assured products for enhancing their knowledge about farming and agricultural practices,” said Union Health Minister ​Dr Mansukh Mandaviya as he interacted virtually with over 3000 farmers from various states at 1.60 lakh Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samridhi Kendra (PMKSKs) across the country.

    Union Minister of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Parshottam Rupala will inaugurate the Second Edition of ICAR-CIBA’s Shrimp Farmers Conclave-2023 at Navsari on September 14, 2023. The event will be attended by various eminent personalities like the Minister of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Cow Breeding, Fisheries and Rural Development, Government of Gujarat, Raghavji bhai Hansrajbhai Patel, Member of Parliament, Navsari, C.R. Patil and Member of Gujarat Legislative Assembly, R.C. Patel. Memorandums of Understanding (MoU) between CIBA and National Fisheries Development Board (NFDB); CIBA and Fish Farmers Producer Organization (FFPO) of Gujarat respectively for implementing the crop insurance for aquaculture with premium subsidy offered by the NFDB and technology support for the FFPO are to be executed during the conclave.

  • Pashu Palan Mela CM Award Given to Farmers For Leading Progressive Livestock

    Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Ludhiana, is set to grant three accolades to forward-thinking livestock farmers in the state during the upcoming Pashu Palan Mela on September 14, 2023. Dr Parkash Singh Brar, the Director of Extension Education, emphasized the university's dedication to bolstering the livestock sector in the state through enhanced extension and outreach programs. To encourage various categories of livestock farmers, the university has established the Chief Minister's Awards in several aspects of livestock farming.
