  • IMD Predicts Isolated Heavy rains in these Regions till 17th August

    The India Meteorological Department predicted intense spell over the Northeast India & Sub- Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim, Bihar is likely to continue till 15th August. The current spell of the widespread rain activity accompanied with isolated heavy to very rainfall is likely to continue over the region between 13th & 14th August. The weather department predicted, isolated heavy rains are likely to occur over Assam & Meghalaya today.

  • TN Government to cut Prices of Petrol by Rs 3/ltr

    On 13th August (Friday) in a move to highlight the pressure on government to cut the tax on fuel, the government of Tamil Nadu announced a Rs 3 per litre cut in petrol prices. The finance minister of Tamil Nadu, Palanivel Thiaga Rajan said that the tax cut on the price of petrol would mean Rs 3 per litre reduction.
