  • Indian Cricketer Smriti Mandhana Backs D2C Startup Neem Ayu

    Indian Women Cricket team’s vice-captain Smriti Mandhana has invested an undisclosed sum in Gurugram-based ayurvedic startup brand Neem Ayu. It is the first time when an Indian woman cricketer has invested into a startup. Following the funding deal, Mandhana will also be the brand ambassador of Neem Ayu. Commenting on the fundraising, Mandhana said, “What made me immediately trust in Neem Ayu’s brand proposition was that its foundation lies in time-tested efficacy of Indian Ayurveda backed by intensive research. These products promise to show results effectively.”

  • AgFarm introduces 11 agro chemical products

    Agro chemical company, AgFarm has expanded its operations to Telangana by introducing 11 products, which includes herbicides, pesticides, fungicides, and plant growth regulators. After introducing the products in Andhra Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh, the Dubai-based company introduced the products in Telangana, which is among the top agro chemicals consuming states in the country.

    Agtech start-up, nurture.farm has partnered with SBI General Insurance and Future Generali India Insurance Company to further expand its insurance solutions for 1.9 million farmers who use its nurture.farm app.nurture.farm is an open digital platform for growers, farming communities, and food systems. It is actively working on a mission to strengthen agricultural outputs, making them profitable and sustainable. The company had recently received the corporate agency licence from India’s Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (IRDA). This licence enables nurture.farm to help farmers access innovative insurance solutions at cost-effective price points.

  • GROWiT organising a series of franchise meets

    GROWiT, India’s leading Direct-to-Farmer (D2F) protective farming manufacturer, is organising a series of franchise meets in seven cities, including Ahmedabad, Indore, Pune, Nagpur, Mysore, Belgaum, and Kalaburagi. The franchise meet will start from 16 July, 2022 to 29 July,2022 in each city. Commenting on this launch, Saurabh Agarwal, Director and CEO of GROWiT, said, “We aim to build a close-knit community of franchisers. We have over 140 franchisers connected with us.
