  • Ayushakti Launches Its First Health Centre at Pune, Maharashtra

    With this Ayushakti now has a total of 20 centres across Maharashtra. The newly launched centre is located at Senapati Bapat Road, Shivaji Nagar and has all facilities to provide an immersive experience to the customers. With 4 treatment rooms, 2 consultation areas, a pantry, and a comfortable waiting area, Ayushakti is all prepared to welcome its clients and treat them with age-old Ayurveda remedies and cure their discomforts from the core. The centre will continue to provide similar treatments Panchkarma, steam, massages, detoxification treatments, deep pulse reading, effective herbal remedies, customized diet plans, marma (Ayurvedic pressure point) techniques amongst others.

  • Flipkart & Simplydesi Host Orientation Workshop for Over 1000 Rural Women Artisans, SHGs in Nagpur

    The goal of the orientation workshop was to empower local craftsmen and SHGs with chances for skill development and knowledge sharing, allowing them to harness the Flipkart marketplace to achieve online business growth.   • Rang De Partners with Mission Samriddhi to Empower Mushroom Farmers in TN

    Rang De, India's first peer-to-peer social investing platform, has launched the Mushroom Fund in partnership with social impact organization Mission Samriddhi. This specialty investment fund aims to assist underserved farmers in Tamil Nadu in generating long-term revenue from mushroom growing. During the first year, 40 farmers in Tamil Nadu's Namakkal area will receive help, allowing them to earn a minimum of Rs.8,000 per month. Founded in 2008 and an RBI-registered NBFC P2P since September 2019, Rang De is a social lending platform that enables social investors to invest in farmers or rural entrepreneurs of their choice while earning a return on their investment.

  • Farm Fires Soar as Wheat Harvesting Concludes in Punjab, Over 9,000 Cases Recorded

    Punjab's crops have caught fire once again as the wheat harvest nears completion. From April 6 to May 15, the state has already registered 9,247 cases of stubble burning. The figures are higher than the 7,808 cases of stubble burning recorded in 2021 but are roughly 34% less than the 14,117 agricultural fires reported in the same period last year. Punjab reported 507 stubble-burning cases on May 15 as compared to 47 fires on the same day last year, signalling that farm fires will persist this season for a few more days. Due to hail and unpredictable heavy rainfall this year, harvesting was put off.

    During the inauguration ceremony, Sarbananda Sonowal emphasized the vital role of integrative medicine in the country's healthcare solutions delivery system. He expressed confidence that the investment made by the government in these new buildings would strengthen efforts to rejuvenate traditional medicine in the region. In addition, the Minister announced that NEIAH would soon commence ambulance services, enhancing healthcare accessibility for the local population. Sarbananda Sonowal highlighted the significance of the north-eastern region in traditional medicine and expressed that the northeast is blessed by Mother Earth, whose natural bounty has aided generations in their healing process.
