  • Telangana Govt to Embark Mission to Supply Irrigation Water

    The State government of Telangana has embarked on a mission to supply the irrigation water to entire cultivable land in Rajanna Sircilla district. The district administration & the Irrigation Department directed to prepare the necessary proposals for the construction of distributor canals as well as fill the tanks to facilitate the cultivation under their ayacut.

  • Khadi Exhibition cum Stalls sets up at 75 Major Railway Stations

    To commemorate the 75 years of India’s Independence, Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, Khadi & Village Industries Commission sets up the exhibition cum sales stalls at 75 major railway stations in the country. These stalls will offer the various Khadi & village industries product such as readymade garments, fabric, Khadi cosmetics, honey, eatables, pottery etc.

  • Rarest Neelakurinji Flower Blossom in Karnataka after 12 Years

    The Karnataka’s Mandalapatti hills of Kodagu district are blossoming with the blue Neelakurinji flowers, this flower blooms once in every 12 years. There are few pictures of Neelakurinji flower that wowed the people after they were share on the social media platform. The hills of Idukki Shalomkunnu under the Santhanpara Panchayat are also blooming with Neelakurinji flowers. This year over 10 acres of Neelakurinji flowers have covered the Shalomkunnu.

  • IMD issues Yellow Alert in 21 Districts

    On 19th August (Thursday) The India Meteorological Department issued yellow alert in 21 districts of Madhya Pradesh for heavy rains & thundershowers. IMD said that heavy rains along with thunderstorm & lightning may hit the isolated places of Chhatarpur, Tikamgarh, Niwari, Satna, Umaria, Katni, Sagar, Rewa, Panna, Dindori, Anuppur, Damoh and Narsinghpur districts. IMD issued yellow alert.

  • Dry Fruit Prices Hike as Taliban takeover of Afghanistan’s impact trade

    The Political turmoil in Afghanistan has seen Taliban taking over the country is likely to drive up the prices of dry fruits that sold in India ahead of the key festive season that sees the demand for such commodities surge. India imports the dried raisin, almond, walnut, fig, pine nut, dried apricot apart from the fresh fruits such as apple, apricot, pomegranate, melon, watermelon, medicinal herbs & saffron from south Asian country.
