Rakesh Tikait asks farmers “to get ready with tractor”
The Bharatiya Kisan Union Leader, Rakesh Tikait has issued an ultimatum to central government regarding the controversial farm laws. He has said that the government won’t agree and it needs treatment, and for that he has asked the farmers to get ready with tractors to start a movement against government to save their lands.

Kutch Farmers launches “Date Dehydration Plant”
Four farmers of Anjar Taluka launched their date dehydration plant, in the state. This dehydration plant is one of its kind. Its aim is to cater the domestic market of dried dates, which is presently import from Pakistan. Their venture coincides and promises to be a good crop year in the Kutch, The “Dates Bowl” of the country.

Farmer from Andhra Pradesh cultivates new rice variety
Andhra Pradesh Farmer, Srinivasulu from Nellore district, harvested a new rice variety called Pusa Samba 1850, developed by the Indian Agricultural Research Institute with yield of 4 tonnes per hectare. The new variety of rice is an improved version of Pusa Samba Mahsuri, and has been widely cultivated by the southern and eastern part of country

Rahul Gandhi once again attacks the Centre
Rahul Gandhi gave an F for effort to Narendra Modi – to lead the BJP Government at the Centre for refusing to pay the compensation to the families of Covid Victims. Congress leader tweeted that “Its impossible to put a price tag to life” and the compensation that the government is providing is only a small help but the Modi government isn’t ready to even do that.

India’s AIF subsidy comes under inspection at WTO
As the India’s Agriculture Infrastructure Fund & cotton subsidies have come under inspection at the World Trade Organization, Australia asked India to provide the overall value of the cotton production and also asked to confirm that the New Delhi is not exceeded the ceiling support and called de minimis is trade parlance for natural textile fibre.

CM of Madhya Pradesh set up 7,000 Covid-19 Vaccination Mahaabhiyan
On the occasion of International Yoga Day. The Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, has set up 7,000 Covid centers under “Vaccination Mahaabhiyan” campaign to inoculate over 10 lakh people, he also said that an effort will be made to vaccinate at least from today itself.

Department of Food & Public Distribution issue notification to ensure Tranparency of targeted audience
The Department of Food & Public Distribution issued a notification to ensure the right quantity to the beneficiaries in distribution of subsidized food grains as per their entitlement under National Food Security Act. The amendment is an attempt to take forward reform process under section 12 of the act, through improvising the transparency of operations of Targeted Public Distribution System under the NFSA.
