  • Adani Group to invest $70 bn in green energy, infra: Gautam Adani

    Gautam Adani said in his address to shareholders at 2022 Annual General Meeting that, India's renewable energy capacity has risen nearly 300% since 2015 and Adani Group's strength in renewables will empower us enormously in the effort to make green energy the fuel of the future. The Adani Group will invest $70 billion in green energy transition and infrastructure projects, as he called for "reshaping India’s energy footprint in an extraordinary way". He added, Adani Group is leading the race to turn India from a country that is over-reliant on the import of oil and gas to a country that one day may become a net exporter of clean energy.

  • Parshottam Rupala launches NDDB MRIDA Limited

    Parshottam Rupala, Union Minister of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying launched NDDB MRIDA Limited, which is a wholly-owned subsidiary company of National Dairy Development Board, to advance manure management initiatives across the country. During the event Parshottam Rupala appreciated Krishi Jagran and Agriculture World Editor in Chief M C Dominic for his immense contribution in agriculture sector. On the launch of NDDB MRIDA Limited Parshottam Rupala said that they will open avenues of additional income to dairy farmers from the sale of slurry or dung. The savings to the farmers by virtue of replacement of cooking fuel with bio gas and Efforts are being made for better utilization of bovine dung but most are individual initiatives.

  • BigHaat launches ‘APP’ for famers
