Himachal Pradesh Government Launches 'Mukhya Mantri Van Vistaar Yojana' to Expand Green Cover and Prevent Soil Erosion
The Himachal Pradesh government is set to launch the 'Mukhya Mantri Van Vistaar Yojana,' a scheme aimed at increasing the green cover in the state. The decision was made during a recent state Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu. The scheme's primary objective is to expand the green cover by reclaiming barren areas of hills and mountains, with a focus on preventing soil erosion and excessive runoff on vulnerable slopes.

Ladli Behna Yojana: Application Restarts, Apply And Get Rs 1,000/ Month
The inauguration of the second phase of the Ladli Bahna Yojana, an ambitious initiative by the state government, has commenced, marking the beginning of the application process, starting from 25 July. This significant scheme, initiated this year, aims to empower women financially.

Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana: Transforming Lives Of Gramin's; Know The Beneficiaries
To fulfil the vision of "Housing for All" in rural areas, the Ministry of Rural Development has been executing the Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana - Gramin (PMAY-G) since April 1, 2016. The scheme aims to provide assistance to eligible rural households, with an ambitious target of constructing 2.95 crore pucca houses with essential amenities by March 2024.
