  • Heavy Rainfall in North & South Bengal for Next Two Days: IMD

    The weather department has warned of heavy rainfall in all the districts of north Bengal for the next 2 days. Heavy showers or thunderstorms are also expected in southern part of Bengal. According to the Met department, the situation is likely to improve after Friday morning.

    The India Meteorological Department's forecast for the region said that moderate rainfall & thunderstorms are likely in Kalimpong, Jalpaiguri, Darjeeling, Alipurduar, Coochbehar, North Dinajpur & South Dinajpur till Friday morning.

  • Malayalam Actor Anil Murali Dies due to liver ailment in Kochi

    Anil Murali, Malayalam actor, popular for his performance in the 2014 film Avatharam has died today.  After his demise, south actor Prithviraj Sukumaran, who had worked with Anil Murali in many Malayalam films in the past like Thanthonni, Hero, Double Barrel, Manikyakkallu, Classmates, City of God, Vargam etc. shared a tribute to him on social media. Prithviraj shared a picture of the Valkannadi actor & expressed his grief by saying "Rest in peace, Anil etta." The actor reportedly died because of liver ailment in Kochi.

  • Covid-19 Latest Updates: Lockdown Extended in Tamil Nadu till 31 August

    Coronavirus News: The Tamil Nadu government has also decided to extend lockdown across the state till 31st August 2020. The decision was taken by CM Edappadi K Palaniswami after holding a meeting with district collectors as well as health experts. The state will observe a complete lockdown every Sunday. The e-pass system that is used by private vehicles for inter-district travel, would be continued till 31 August.
