Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on 27 October 2020 has released the second installment of YSR Rythu Bharosa - PM Kisan scheme for farmers of the state. Rs 1,115 crore have been distributed to over 50 lakh farmers along with an extra Rs 136 crore for compensating crop damage due to heavy rain in Andhra Pradesh.
It must be noted that the first installment of YSR Rythu Bharosa-PM Kisan scheme was released on 15th May 2020 during the lockdown.
Rythubharosa-PM Kisan scheme
Under Rythu Bharosa scheme, every farmer will get Rs 13,500 in a year, and in five years, they would get Rs 67,500, not as a loan, but as an investment to purchase farm inputs.
The Chief Minister said that the 2nd installment of Rs 4,000 will be given in the month of October to help them invest for Rabi crop while the 3rd installment of Rs. 2,000 will be transferred on Sankranthi. Reddy also said, “62% of the population is dependent on agriculture, 80% of farmers have less-than one hectare landholding and 50% have less than half a hectare. Hence it is very important to help them”.
The CM said beneficiaries’ names were displayed at village secretariats since 24 April 2020. Those who have been left out due to any reason can apply within a month.
How to Check Rythubharosa Beneficiary Status
To check the application status of Rythubharosa scheme, follow the steps given below:-
Step 1 – Go to Rythu Bharosa's official website - https://ysrrythubharosa.ap.gov.in/
Step 2 – On the Homepage, click the link that says 'check your Rythubharosa status'
Step 3 – Now enter your Aadhaar number & 'Submit' it.
Step 5 - Your status will appear on screen.
On the other hand, farmers can also go to the office of Gram Panchayat or the Mandal extension officer to check their payment status.

Rythu Bharosa Eligible list 2020
The list of all the eligible farmers in the scheme has been displayed by the district administration in the Gram Panchayat office. Farmers who are not able to find their names in the list must get in touch with the Divisional Extension Officer.
