Israel has invested in six areas of Uttar Pradesh: defence and aerospace, agricultural technology, information technology, pharmaceuticals, electronics manufacturing, and water management. Uttar Pradesh government is in constant contact with Israel about these investments.

"Israel is crucial to the management of water resources in Uttar Pradesh's Bundelkhand region. According to the press release, it will also be a crucial partner for the state in developing its aerospace and defence sectors.

The central government's significant project, the defence corridor, which aims to achieve self-reliance in India's defence manufacturing, will have six nodes in Uttar Pradesh. Israel can have a significant impact on this. Additionally, Israeli businesses can introduce new technologies to advance the nation's agriculture, "stated the press release.

Naor Gillon, Israel's ambassador to India, recently suggested that there might be significant investment in UP. He claimed that Israel is prepared for a significant partnership with UP, especially in areas like IT, security, and defence infrastructure.

In Uttar Pradesh, there are already numerous Israeli projects in progress. One of them is the ongoing project to solve the water issue in Bundelkhand. In terms of innovation and high-tech systems, Israel is very progressive. The government of Uttar Pradesh maintains regular communication with businesses in Israel's major industrial cities, like Tel Aviv and Haifa.

The Israeli government is preparing to advance the negotiations with a few Silicon Valley-based IT firms. According to the press release, government representatives from the Agriculture and Irrigation Department are also prepared to close the deal with Israel.
