Under Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, the Central government provides financial assistance of Rs 6,000 to farmers every year. The money is been given to the farmers in three equal installments of Rs. 2000 each. PM-Kisan scheme has become operational from 1 December 2018.

So far, the Modi government has given six installments to the farmers and from today (1st December), it will start distributing the seventh installment of PM Kisan yojana. The government transfers the third installment in between December to March.
Farmers who have registered under the scheme must check the beneficiary status and see if the money has reached in their account or not. If the seventh installment has not yet reached in the account then there is no need to worry because sometimes online transactions takes time. Farmers can check PM Kisan status in two ways; firstly at government’s official website or through PM-Kisan mobile app.

First of all, visit the official website of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana - pmkisan.gov.in.

After this, go to Farmers Corner at the right hand side of the homepage.

Now click on the option that says ‘Beneficiary Status’.

Then enter Aadhaar number or account number or mobile number in the space provided.

Finally click get report.
Your payment status will appear on the screen. Check it carefully and if there is any problem then contact the agriculture department.

It must be noted that many farmers do not get money on time because of small errors like spelling mistake in their name or wrong Aadhaar number and bank account number. Hence it is better to fill in the application form carefully in the beginning.
