Dairy Technology is a Science that deals with the study of milk processing and its products. It is a part of food technology and processing industry that involves Processing, Packaging, Distribution and Transportation of various Dairy Products such as milk, Ice-cream Butter etc.

This field basically uses technology to make dairy products more useful and long lasting by deploying basic concepts of physics, chemistry, economics, engineering, and bacteriology. The way that Dairy Industry has grown in last decade, it has opened vast job opportunities.

How to become a Dairy Technologist?

Eligibility: If you want to become a Dairy Technologist, you must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry Mathematics and English.

B.Tech Dairy Technology is a 4 years undergraduate course that deals with the study of all the aspects of processing and manufacture of dairy products. Students get the opportunity to learn about the preventive measures that are taken in processing and maintaining standard quality of milk packaging and milk products.
