FICCI and the India Office of Konrad-Adenauer- Stiftung in partnership with the EU-India Association are organizing a panel discussion titled ‘Future of India-EU Relations’ Key Takeaways from India-EU Summit 2021 on May 10, 2021 between 1345- 1600 hrs (IST) / 1015- 1230 hrs (Brussels Time) on Zoom. This is the first in the series of Track II interactions involving elected representatives and industry.
India and the European Union share a close relationship in political relations, trade and investment, economic and development cooperation as well as social and cultural ties. The aim of the interaction would be to present a holistic picture of India-EU global partnership built on shared values of democracy and inclusion. It would focus on the soon-to-be held India-EU Summit 2021 to identify the key takeaways of the Summit. The forthcoming India-EU Leaders’ Meeting is expected to reflect the shared ambition of both sides to further strengthen the India-EU Strategic Partnership.
The interaction will witness the presence of FICCI Leadership, Indian Ambassador to EU and Ambassador of Delegation of European Union to India, MEPs from the European Parliament and select members of Indian industry in a candid conversation and exchange of views.
