The Rajasthan government has been a pioneer in taking a holistic approach to promote millet cultivation and consumption in the state. These efforts will result in an increase in millet farmer income and the growth of the millet ecosystem in Rajasthan.
FICCI is organizing the 'Rajasthan Millet Conclave 2023' on May 18th, 2023, with the goal of highlighting Rajasthan's capabilities in the millet industry and fostering meaningful discourse among various stakeholders. We are optimistic that this conference will result in the creation of a future roadmap for millets and the millets ecosystem in Rajasthan.
A one-day colloquium will be attended by corporate leaders from the agriculture and food industries, tourist and hospitality industries, millet startups, members of the FICCI Task Force on Millets, researchers, academicians, farmers, and policymakers.
This would be a great forum for taking a holistic and multidimensional approach to addressing crucial difficulties in the millet value chain and catalyzing an impactful alliance to design a future roadmap to promote Rajasthan as a prominent hub for millets.
