FICCI in association with DPIIT is organizing a second edition of Public Procurement Forum on 07 September 2021 from 4:00 PM onwards. This will be on virtual mode. Piyush Goyal, Minister for Commerce & Industry, Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution and Textiles has kindly agreed to inaugurate the webinar.
Som Parkash (Minister of State for Commerce and Industry) and Anupriya Patel (Minister of State for Commerce and Industry) have also been requested to address the delegates in the webinar.
The first edition of Public Procurement Forum was held in February 2020 which was very well received by the stakeholders where more than 200 representatives participated in discussions. The second edition is being organized in view of the various amendments brought out in Public Procurement Order (PPO) of Government of India to promote domestic manufacturing and value addition in the country. The webinar aims to address the issues concerning various Departments, sectors with regard to the implementation of the Order.
