Every part of neem, whether it is neem root, bark of neem tree, leaves, flowers or kernels of neem seeds and seed oil, all have their own importance. Neem is found to have antioxidant properties, which helps fight against many diseases.

Neem is helpful in treatment of acne

Apart from pimples, neem is very useful in the treatment of many skin problems. By just applying neem paste, your skin will get rid of stickiness & harmful bacteria and becomes disease free in minutes. The antioxidant properties which are present in neem removes skin stains, making the skin look clean. Fatty acids and high amounts of vitamin E which are present in Neem oil reduces the effects of aging and keeps the face fresh.

Consumption of neem relieves constipation

Consuming neem does not cause irritation and inflammation in the gastrointestinal tract which keeps you away from ulcers and intestinal diseases like constipation, torsion and inflammation.

Neem Benefits For Cancer

High amounts of antioxidants are found in neem, reduces the risk of cancer in the body. The antioxidant in neem prevents the harmful effects of free radicals, which protects the body from cancer. Neem also reduces the risk of heart diseases apart from cancer prevention.

It is not clear how useful neem is in the treatment of diabetes, but it is certain that the consumption of neem increases the level of insulin in the body. Neem contains some chemicals that activate insulin which increases the level of insulin in the body and does not cause diabetes.

Side Effects of Neem

Neem has numerous health benefits, but it also has some side effects. Here are some of the major side effects caused by the use of neem.

  • Kidney and liver problems may arise in young children due to the consumption of neem.

  • Neem is used as a pain reliever, eat neem in the right quantity and in the right way otherwise you may get tired and lethargic.

  • Consuming Neem oil in excess, the patient may also experience numbness in the body and may go into a coma.

  • Excessive consumption of neem can also cause stomach irritation. so, take special care of its quantity before consuming it.
