Small yellow flowers appear in the langsat tree from April to June, which later on develops greenish berries in clusters. Its fruits are ready for harvesting between the month of August and November, when their color turns into brownish yellow. It is plant that bears small, orb shaped, edible fruits and these fruits resemblance potato from their outer appearance and inside it has a white flesh, which contains inedible bitter seeds.

Vitamin A

Every 100gms of Langsat contains 0.8g of protein, 2.3g of fiber, 20mg Calcium, 30mg of phosphorous, 9.5g of carb, 124mg of riboflavin, 89mcg of thiamine, 13IU of vitamin A and 1mg of ascorbic acid.
