In order to get more insights about the company’s short & medium-term plans, Krishi Jagran interacted with Bhavesh Shah, Managing Director of GSP Crop Science.

Tell us about yourself and your company- GSP Crop Science Pvt Ltd

GSP Crop Science Pvt Ltd was founded in 1985 to manufacture phosphate products but moved to Agro Chem within three years. Today we produce more than 14 technicals and offer over 60 products to our customers.

What products & services do you offer?

We sell more than 60 products and sell in three different verticals: Brand domestic, Export, and B2B. Our product range includes all three pesticides: insecticides, herbicides, and fungicides.

How do you plan to expand your operations in the future?

We plan to expand to other countries in the future and plan to grow based on better-innovated products.

We got know about your go green campaign, tell us about that.

We have started an ESG initiative that will help us plan for a greener and more sustainable future for the company. KPMG is helping us prepare for this project.

What are your views about organic farming? Do you think a country like India can go organic?

Organic farming is a good idea but I doubt it will help cover the output needed to sufficiently help our country grow or even sustain. Better agriculture practices and precision farming could be more helpful and provide for a better future.

What message do you have for our readers?

Farmers are the heart and soul of our company and we aim all our effort for their betterment. Our R&D effort and development of our products is to provide the farmers with the best value products for their money.
