ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi, is extending an invitation to eligible candidates for various positions under the externally funded ICAR project titled "Enhancing climate resilience and ensuring food security with genome editing tools" (Project Code 12-197-A, 12-197-B, 12-197-C positions). The available positions include:
1.Research Associate (RA) - 4 Positions

Emoluments: ₹49,000+ HRA per Month (for Master Degree holders with 3-year experience) Or ₹54,000 + HRA per month (for PhD degree holders)

Age Limit: Maximum 40 years for men; 45 years for women

Essential Qualifications: Ph.D. in Biotechnology/Plant Physiology/Plant Biochemistry/Genetics & Plant Breeding/Botany or relevant discipline of life sciences. Alternatively, Master's degree holders with desirable experience.

Desirable Qualifications: Experience in basic molecular techniques, genetic transformation of crops, genome editing of plants, etc.
2.Senior Research Fellow (SRF) - 6 Positions

Emoluments: ₹31,000 + HRA per month for 1st and 2nd year & ₹35,000 per month + HRA for 3rd year

Age Limit: Maximum 35 years for men; 40 years for women

Essential Qualifications: Master’s degree in relevant subjects with 4 years / 5 years of Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Desirable Qualifications: Similar to Research Associate (RA) position.
3.Young Professional II (YPII) - 4 Positions

Emoluments: ₹42,000 per month (Fixed)

Age Limit: Minimum 21 years; Maximum 45 years

Essential Qualifications: Master’s degree in relevant subjects or graduate degree holders in relevant Agricultural Sciences/Engineering/Technology.

4.Young Professional II IT - 1 Position

Emoluments: ₹42,000 per month (Fixed)

Age Limit: Minimum 21 years; Maximum 45 years

Essential Qualifications: Graduates with at least 60% marks in Computer Application/Information Technology/Computer Science or relevant fields.

Desirable Qualifications: Experience in scientific administrative assistance, project management tools, web designing, etc.
