Division of Genetics at the Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) in New Delhi is offering two contractual positions for Senior Research Fellows (SRF). These positions are part of an ICAR-funded project focusing on hybrid technology in pigeonpea.

Emoluments

Rs. 31,000/- per month + 24% HRA

Rs. 35,000/- per month + 24% HRA (for candidates with two years of research experience)
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Genetics, Plant Breeding, Genetics and Plant Breeding, Biotechnology, or Life Sciences with a 4/5 year bachelor’s degree.

Candidates with a 3-year bachelor’s degree must have a UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET qualification, or equivalent, or a Ph.D. in the aforementioned disciplines.
Age Limit:

Maximum of 35 years

Age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/Women candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates, in accordance with Government of India/ICAR rules.
The positions are purely temporary and will be on a contractual basis for an initial period of one year or until the project is completed, whichever comes first.
