Qualifications and Eligibility
Senior Scientist-Head
-
Doctoral degree in Agricultural Science or related basic sciences, along with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience as a scientist, lecturer, extension specialist, or in an equivalent position.

Candidates should have a proven track record of research or extension education, demonstrated through published work, innovations, and impactful contributions.

Preference will be given to candidates with a PhD in Agriculture Extension, Agronomy, Plant Breeding, Livestock Production, Horticulture, Home Science (Community Science), Agriculture Engineering, Fisheries, Agroforestry, Soil Science, and Plant Protection.

Additionally, experience in frontline extension, coordination, and monitoring of extension programs is desirable.
Assistant (Office Superintendent and Accountant)
Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university.
Age Limit: The upper age limit for applicants is 47 years for Senior Scientist-Head and 20-30 years for Assistant (Office Superintendent and Accountant)
Monthly Remuneration

Senior Scientist-Head - Level 13A (With rationalized entry pay of Rs. 1,31,400/- per month

Assistant (Office Superintendent and Accountant) - Pay Level 6 (Rs. 35,400-1,12,400/- per month)
Selection Procedure

Candidates will be shortlisted by the selection committee based on the educational qualifications and relevant experience.
