Eligibility Criteria for SSB Odisha PGT

Education Qualification:

Candidates must possess a Master’s Degree in the relevant subject from a recognized University or a six-year integrated Post Graduate Master’s course from a recognized Regional College of Education, with at least 50% marks or its equivalent grade.
A B.Ed. or a similar degree recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education, New Delhi, from a recognized University or Institution is mandatory.
For PGT positions in certain subjects, such as Commerce, Education, Geology, and others, a B.Ed. qualification is not mandatory.

Age Limit:

Minimum age limit: 21 years
Maximum age limit: 38 years

Selection Process

Candidates will be selected based on the following criteria: I. Written Test: 150 Marks (Multiple Choice Question Type) II. Career Assessment: 50 Marks III. Total: 200 Marks

Unreserved / SEBC category: Rs.500/-
Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe and PwD categories: Rs.200/-
