Agriculture Admission 2023: Apply for PGDM Courses at Indian Institutes of Plantation Management Before 31 Jan

Students can apply for courses related to agriculture and allied sciences, such as horticulture, forestry, sericulture, post-harvest technology, and other related fields.

Applications are invited for admission to the AICTE-MHRD-Government of India-approved Programs for 2023–2024 at the Indian Institute of Plantation Management (IIPM), Jnana Bharathi Campus, P.O. Malathalli, Bengaluru 560056, an autonomous organization of the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India.

Agribusiness and Plantation Management (PGDM-ABPM), Agricultural Export & Business Management (PGDM-AEBM), and Food Processing and Business Management are the three specializations available for the Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) (PGDM-FPBM)

The remaining programs are the Fellow Programme in Management (FPM-Ph.D.) 2023–2027 and (ii) the Executive Professional Certificate Program in Agribusiness and Plantation Management (EPCP-ABPM) 2023.

PGDM-ABPM is an NBA Accredited and authorized by AIU (Twinning Program with Royal Agricultural University, UK) as being comparable to an MBA. The University of Wisconsin Madison, WI-USA, and N T University, UK are academic partners in the PGDM-FPBM program (under approval stage).

Applicants for the PGDM-ABPM, AEBM, and FPBM programs must have a valid Bachelor's degree with at least 50% overall or an equivalent grade point average (45% for SC/ST and PWD applicants).

Agriculture and allied sciences, such as horticulture, forestry, sericulture, post-harvest technology, and other related fields, will be given precedence for ABPM. AIU (Twinning Program with Royal Agricultural University, UK) has authorized the PGDM-ABPM as being comparable to an MBA and NBA accredited.

Academic partners in the PGDM-FPBM program include N T University in the UK and the University of Wisconsin Madison in the USA (under approval stage).

Candidates for the PGDM-ABPM, AEBM, and FPBM programs must hold a recognized Bachelor's degree with a minimum cumulative GPA of 50% (45% for SC/ST and PWD candidates) or an equivalent grade point average.

For ABPM, emphasis will be placed on agriculture and allied sciences such as horticulture, forestry, sericulture, post-harvest technology, and other relevant subjects.

The admission page at https://iipmb.edu.in/ offers brochures for admission to various programs. Online applications must be filed there by no later than January 31, 2023. The application fee is Rs. 1,250 (Rs. 625 for candidates who are SC, ST, or PH), and it can be paid online. The application form is available for download by the applicant upon successful payment.
