I lost my father 15 years ago. But I still feel his presence in my life. This is not some paranormal thing; but a natural thing. Parents are such. Even if they leave the Earth, they never leave you.
This Father’s Day, I pay tribute to my father who taught me discipline in life. And yes, I am writing this today is due to the fact that I received the “writing genes” from my father, as he was an author too.
Father’s Day 2021 theme
Does this day require a theme? No. The basic purpose of dedicating a day to fathers is to take some time off and think a while for your father - a person, a very important person in our life, whom we often take for granted.
How many times did you tell your father or papa or daddy or dad, “I love you”?
Father’s Day is for us mortals to spare time to revere our father. And for those who have lost their fathers, it is the day to embrace the immortal energy of a father.
The real superhero
A common saying goes, “Superheroes are never fictional.” And I would like to add, “They are fathers.”
Father figure
Fathers don’t always mean biological father. You may also have a father figure in your life, somebody who you look upon, somebody who is your mentor in life.
So, if you have somebody like this in your life, no better day than Father’s Day to call or meet him and say how much you respect and value him.
Famous Father’s Day quotes
