The Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University (DPSRU) has introduced two new job-oriented courses: B.Sc. Biomedical Science and B. Sc. Nursing.
Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia announced the courses on Monday, saying they will help address the rising need for health care personnel, specialized patient support services, and post-COVID management.
Courses To Increase Employment Chances
"These courses will give medical science students with specialized skills and increase their employment chances." Sisodia added, "DPSRU will design these courses to meet the demands of the time, and the syllabus will be dynamic."

Sisodia mentioned the absence of competent healthcare experts to help doctors with particular medical technology as one of the flaws.
Medical Student To Get Requisite Field Experience
Ramesh K Goyal, Vice-Chancellor of DPSRU, said the university has partnered with Ambedkar Nagar Hospital in Dakshinpuri, as well as other hospitals in the Capital, to guarantee that each student has the requisite field experience while pursuing their specializations.
