'Ravi Krishi Mahotsav 2023', a two-day festival, was celebrated in Ahmedabad along with the state-level program in all 246 talukas, including all 9 talukas of Daskroi. The Agriculture Minister, Raghavji Patel, along with the Union Minister of State for Communications and MP, Devusinh Chauhan, were also present at the event. Further, the agriculture minister and MP, Mohan Kundariya, attended a farmers' meeting at the 2nd largest APMC of Gujarat, the APMC in Bedi, Rajkot.

In his address at the inauguration of 'Ravi Krishi Mahotsav 2023', agriculture minister Raghavji Patel expressed that the efforts under the guidance of PM Narendra Modi to achieve massive growth in the agriculture sector and continuous focus on the upliftment of farmers have yielded significant results, positioning Gujarat as a leader in agricultural development today.
Emphasizing the ongoing efforts to increase agricultural production, the minister stated that the government is consistently working towards providing economic support to farmers by announcing timely and reasonable support prices.
Ensuring farmers receive electricity at affordable rates has been a priority for the government, with no increase in power tariffs for the last ten years, as highlighted by the minister. The agriculture minister urged farmers to adopt cow-based natural farming and increase the cultivation of millet to support the goals of the International Millet Year.
Gujarat Chief Minister, Bhupendra Patel, while discussing the development of the agriculture sector in the country and the state, said that under the guidance of the PM, continuous efforts have been made to move towards modern agriculture and align farmers with contemporary agricultural practices.
Thereafter, Patel and MP Mohan Kundariya actively participated in a farmers' meet held at the Agricultural Produce Market Committee (APMC) in Bedi, Rajkot, which stands as the second-largest APMC in Gujarat.
