How to Check Your PM KISAN Account Balance and Updated Beneficiary Status

As the government released the 17th installment of PM KISAN yojana, farmers must check their status and name in the new beneficiary list.

Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana popularly known as PM-KISAN is a scheme designed to provide financial assistance to farmers. Under PM Kisan yojana, eligible farmers receive Rs 6,000 annually in three installments of Rs 2,000 each. This financial aid helps farmers purchase seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, and other essential farming supplies, thus supporting them in coping with inflation and enhancing agricultural productivity. 

Since the scheme's inception, over Rs 3.24 lakh crores have been disbursed to more than 11 crore farmers across the nation through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). The latest installment was released on June 18, 2024. Farmers who have not yet received their payments are advised to check their status quickly to determine the cause of any delays.

How to Check PM KISAN Status & Payment Details

You can follow the steps mentioned below to check PM KISAN balance;

  • Navigate to the official website of PM KISAN Samman Nidhi scheme. 

  • Now look for ‘Farmer’s Corner Section.

  • Then select the ‘beneficiary status' option. In this, the beneficiary can find his or her application status for PM KISAN. The list will have the farmer’s name and the amount sent in his bank account.

  • After that, enter either your mobile number or registration number.

  • Click on the 'Get Data' button to view your account balance and updated beneficiary status.

How to Check the 'Beneficiary List' 

To check the 'Beneficiary List' -you will again have to go to the farmers’ corner on the PM KISAN website. Then click on the beneficiary list option and enter your State, District, Sub-District, Block and Village details properly. Finally, click on the submit button to get the list.
