Amid the rising corona cases across the nation, State Bank of India (SBI), country's largest banker, has relaunched its 'Insta Saving Bank Account’ to encourage contactless interaction. Now, the users can instantly open SBI savings account without submitting any actual documents which means that the facility is completely paperless.
The customer just needs to download YONO app instead of visiting a bank branch. Along with that, PAN and Aadhaar number are mandatory to open the instant digital savings bank account with SBI.
SBI Chairman Rajnish Kumar said, “This product would be beneficial to customers in this prevailing COVID 19 situation, who can open Savings Account at the comfort of their homes, without visiting a bank branch. As per the bank's press release, the SBI Insta Saving Bank Account holders can have 24x7 banking access. SBI will also issue basic personalized RuPay ATM-cum-debit card to all the new account holders of Insta Saving Bank Account.
How to open SBI savings bank account Online Instantly?
First customers need to download YONO app to open the SBI Insta Saving Bank Account.
Go to the google play store and download YONO app.
Enter your PAN and Aadhaar details carefully to avoid any mistake.
After submitting the details, you will get a one-time password from the bank.
Submit OTP (one-time password), and fill other relevant details.
Once the process is complete, the account holder will get his/her account activated instantly and can start transacting immediately.
What are the other facilities of the SBI Savings Account?
As per the official, the nomination facility is available for SBI Insta Saving Bank Account holders along with SMS Alerts and SBI Quick Missed call service.
