The National Testing Agency (NTA) has reopened the online application window for the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) [AIEEA(PG) and AICE JRF/SRF(Ph.D)] entrance examinations 2024. This move allows eligible candidates to apply for these exams until May 23, 2024, via the official website, icar.nta.nic.in.
“This opportunity is being provided for all those candidates who could not complete their registration earlier as well as for those candidates who want to apply as fresh candidates for the ICAR - 2024,” states the official notification from NTA.
The ICAR AIEEA PG and AICE-PhD 2024 entrance exams are scheduled for June 29. Initially, the registration for these exams closed on May 11, 2024, with a correction window available from May 13 to 15. However, due to numerous requests from candidates who faced challenges completing their registration, the NTA decided to reopen the application window.
Candidates wishing to apply can access the application forms for both the ICAR AIEEA 2024 and the Advanced International Certificate of Education (AICE PhD) through the NTA’s official website, icar.nta.nic.in.
The application fees for candidates vary by category: Rs 1,120 for unreserved (UR) category candidates, Rs 1,100 for economically weaker sections (EWS) and other backward classes (non-creamy layer, OBC-NCL), and Rs 550 for scheduled castes (SC), scheduled tribes (ST), persons with disabilities (PwD), and transgender candidates. The deadline for fee payment is also May 23.
The exams offer admission to a variety of master’s degree programs in disciplines such as agriculture, horticulture, forestry, veterinary sciences, animal sciences, agricultural engineering, community science, fisheries, dairy science, and other allied fields.
Candidates are advised to fill out the online application form carefully, as no additional correction window will be provided.
