"After a thorough review of the development projects being implemented in all 18 divisions of the state, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, along with MPs and MLAs, held meetings with Ministers and Additional Chief Secretary/Principal Secretary/Secretary level officers," said a press note issued by the UP government.

During the special meeting, the Chief Minister reviewed the department-by-department utilisation of the funds provided in the current fiscal budget and provided necessary guidelines to expedite development projects in accordance with public expectations. The budget estimate for the next fiscal year will be presented following the programmes of the Global Investors Summit and the G-20 next month.

Addressing the meeting, Yogi Adityanath said, "all the departments should prepare and send their proposals for the budget according to their future plans. The upcoming budget will reflect the desires of 25 crore people. Include the budget proposal's points from the public welfare resolution letter. Make certain that your offer is reasonable. "Demand as much as you require."

There are now only two months until the end of the fiscal year 2022-23. "It should be ensured that the funds provided in the current budget are properly spent by all departments before the end of the current fiscal budget," Yogi added. During the meeting, it was also discussed to review departmental expenditure. The ministers in question were directed to review their departmental status.

"We are getting all possible help from the central government for the overall development of the state under the guidance of PM Modi. Coordination with the Centre is required to obtain the remaining amount. Departmental ministers should communicate with ministers from the Government of India. Don't let the project be hampered by a lack of a focal point. Work should be resumed by releasing state shares in accordance with the rules. "All departments should ensure that they send a certificate of 100% utilisation," CM Yogi said.

Several departments, including Home Guard, Rural Development, Panchayati Raj, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Cooperative, Public Works Department, Disabled People Empowerment, MSME, Urban Development, Forest, and Vocational Education, have been directed to increase their spending in accordance with the allocation. Many important projects are being implemented in these departments; complete them as soon as possible," Yogi said. He also directed that the Udyog Bandhu meeting be held on a regular basis.

"Every District Magistrate, Police Captain, Trade and Industry Department should compulsorily hold a meeting with business organisations once a month. The majority of issues can be resolved locally. Those issues that cannot be resolved locally should be referred to the government. Efforts in this direction should be made with positive thinking," Yogi added.
