NTA UGC NET Result 2019 Declared; Direct Link to Check Scores & Latest Information for Students

The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the National Eligibility Test (NET) result 2019 today i.e. on July 13. Candidates who appeared for the exam can check their result at the official website @ ntanet.nic.in or nta.ac.in.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the National Eligibility Test (NET) result 2019 today i.e. on July 13. Candidates who appeared for the exam can check their result at the official website @ ntanet.nic.in or nta.ac.in.

Candidates must note that they will be able to see two lists, one for candidates qualified for an assistant professor and other for those eligible to apply for JRF posts. Interestingly, a total of 4756 candidates have cleared for the JRF, whereas 55701 have cleared the NET for assistant professor only.

It is to be noted that the candidates, who are eligible to apply for JRF fellowship can also apply for assistant professor jobs. But, the ones who are selected for assistant professor roles are not eligible to apply for JRF.

The exam for assessing candidates to be eligible for the post of assistant professor or junior research fellowship (JRF) was held from June 20 to June 26, 2019.

How to check UGC NET result 2019?

Step 1: Go to the official website @ ntanet.nic.in

Step 2: On the homepage, tap on the result link

Step 3: Log-in using important details

Step 4: Result will appear on your computer screen

Step 5: Download it and take a print for future use

UGC NET result 2019: Important Information

For clearing the exam, candidates must score at least 40 per cent (30 per cent for SC/ST/PWD) marks. From the qualified candidates, only the top 6 per cent will be selected and declared pass. However, over 9 lakh candidates appeared in the exam covering over 81 subjects across 615 centres in 237 cities, according to the information by NTA.
