On November 22, 2024, the Rural Marketing Association of India (RMAI) successfully conducted the inaugural edition of the ‘Rural Case Study Summit 2024’ at BML Munjal University, Gurgaon. The event brought together leading industry professionals, showcasing exceptional case studies and recognizing winners of the Flame Awards Asia 2024, held earlier in July at Taj Vivanta, Surajkund.

The summit highlighted diverse insights on key themes like brand awareness, technology integration, social media strategies, CSR initiatives, distribution, and sales promotion. Esteemed organizations such as TVS Credit, CASE Construction, Agriliv Research Foundation, Corteva AgriSciences, Group M, Anugrah Madison, Insight Outreach, and Impact Communication presented impactful case studies featuring brands like HUL, ITC, Perfetti, Britannia, Glenmark Pharma, and P&G.

The summit featured masterclasses led by experts in rural development, enhancing its intellectual depth. Among the speakers were Rajkumar Jha, Director at Rural Campus and a former professional at Ogilvy; Sanjay Panigrahi, an Independent Consultant and former executive at Pidilite; Dr. Anirban Chaudhuri, a seasoned marketing strategist; and Prof. Pratik Modi, Dean at BML Munjal University. These sessions provided attendees with actionable insights into rural market dynamics and trends.

The summit also created a platform for networking and collaboration, with corporate professionals exploring partnerships to leverage rural marketing opportunities. Spearheaded by Davinder Singh, CEO of ACIC-BMU Foundation and an IRMA alumnus with three decades of global experience, the event demonstrated the potential of rural marketing as a vital growth driver.
