STIHL India, a leading agricultural equipment manufacturer has partnered with Krishi Jagran's 'MFOI, VVIF Kisan Bharat Yatra', an agrarian roadshow that is set to traverse through the State of Haryana. The event kicked off in Kurukshetra's Dhanoura Jattan village, where Dr Sudhir Yadav, Agriculture Plant Protection Officer of Haryana's Department of Agriculture inaugurated the ceremony, the enthusiastic participation of over 50 progressive farmers alongside industry stalwarts such as Dheeraj Kumar, North Head of STIHL India, Rahul Saini, Dealer Sales Executive at Mahindra Tractors, and Harendra Kumar, Area Sales Manager (Haryana Incharge), Somani Kanak Seedz Pvt. Ltd.
Krishi Jagran's Farmer First
The Krishi Jagran event, anchored by its 'Farmer First' ethos, commenced with Preetpal Singh, a progressive farmer from Dhanoura Jattan, expressing his heartfelt gratitude for hosting such a significant gathering in his village. Harinder Kumar from Somani Kanak Seedz Private Limited, in a gesture of solidarity with the farming community, extended guidance and support to vegetable cultivators, offering valuable insights and samples to aid in their endeavors.

Dheeraj Kumar talked about STIHL's century-long legacy of excellence, highlighting the company's extensive footprint across 166 countries and emphasizing the pivotal role of STIHL equipment in enhancing agricultural productivity. He underscored the pivotal support extended by various state governments, including Haryana, through the Sub-Mission on Agricultural Mechanization (SMAM) Scheme, in providing subsidies for the adoption of STIHL products.
Rahul Saini from Mahindra Tractors, unveiled a visionary outlook of the organization aimed at leveraging satellite connectivity to empower farmers, ensuring enhanced mobility and operational efficiency through futuristic tractor technology.
Dr Sudhir Yadav, in his address, extended heartfelt gratitude to the assembled farmers and underscored the transformative potential of collaborative efforts in addressing agricultural challenges. He commended the digitization initiatives undertaken by agricultural departments, urging farmers to leverage online platforms for accessing information and availing benefits of government schemes.

At the event, Krishi Jagran's team also raised awareness about the 'MFOI Awards,' sponsored by Mahindra Tractors. This groundbreaking event, held in December 2023 at PUSA, made history by honouring over 1000 millionaire farmers from across the nation. As a flagship initiative of Krishi Jagran, the event has introduced several impactful programs, including the 'MFOI, VVIF Kisan Bharat Yatra,' that is bound to travel the length and breadth of the country, empowering farmers and creating awareness about the second edition of the 'MFOI Awards' scheduled for December 1-3, 2024. Moreover, ICAR has also joined this award ceremony as the knowledge partner, further enhancing its significance and reach within the agricultural community.
