UPSSSC PET Result 2023 Site Down, Candidates Await Result

As the UPSSSC declares Preliminary Eligibility Test results, over 12.5 lakh candidates await their fate. However, the site is not working leaving candidates in anticipation.

The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) announced the UPSSSC PET Result 2023 on January 29, 2024, bringing anticipation to over 12.5 lakh candidates who undertook the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET). While the official website, upsssc.gov.in, is experiencing technical difficulties, candidates are eager to access their scores and move one step closer to coveted Group B and C positions in the Uttar Pradesh government.

Candidates are urged to follow these steps to access their results:

Step 3: Check your result on the next page.

UPSSSC PET Result 2023 Provisional Answer Key and Objection Window

The UP PET exam, conducted on October 28 and 29, saw the release of the provisional answer sheet on November 6. Candidates dissatisfied with the key had until November 15 to raise objections, with the final date for objections set on January 24, 2024.

UPSSSC PET Result 2023: Registration and Attendance

A staggering 20,07,533 candidates registered for the UPSSSC PET exam. Of these, 12,58,867 (63 percent) appeared for the exam, while 7,48,666 candidates (37 percent) chose to abstain. Possessing a valid UP PET Exam scorecard is imperative for those eyeing Group B and C positions in the Uttar Pradesh government.

Exam Structure and Negative Marking

The exam comprised two sessions, with 100 objective-type MCQs. From 10 am to 12 pm and 3 pm to 5 pm, candidates navigated through questions on general knowledge, numerical aptitude, and reasoning. Each incorrect answer incurred a negative marking of 0.25 marks while each correct answer incurred 1 mark.

Selection Process and Positions

The PET Selection Process unfolds in four stages: Prelims, Mains, Interview, and Skill Test (if applicable), alongside Document Verification. Successfully clearing these stages positions candidates for diverse Group B and C roles, including UP Lekhpal, X-Ray Technician, Junior Assistant, and more.
