• Tamil Nadu, Puducherry & Karaikal:

• October 17, 2024: Isolated heavy to very heavy rainfall is expected over north interior Tamil Nadu, while southern regions may see heavy showers.

• Rayalaseema and South Andhra Pradesh to experience heavy rainfall at isolated places on October 17, 2024.

• Karnataka and Kerala:

• Light to moderate rainfall is likely over most areas, with heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated places in South Interior Karnataka and Kerala from October 16 to 17, 2024.

Forecast for Western and Eastern India

• West India:

  Scattered light to moderate rainfall is expected over Konkan & Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, and Marathwada for the next five days. Isolated heavy rainfall is likely on October 16 and 17, 2024, particularly in Konkan & Goa.

• East India:

  The Andaman & Nicobar Islands will experience fairly widespread to widespread rainfall, with heavy rainfall expected between October 19 and 21, 2024.
