Beijing Temporarily Bans Food Imports after Coronavirus Detected on Frozen Shrimp
Beijing has temporarily banned food imports from 3 Ecuadorian companies after detecting coronavirus on the packaging for frozen shrimp, following fresh inspection on refrigerated goods after a recent disease outbreak in China. Samples that were taken from the packaging of Whiteleg shrimp at port cities of Xiamen and Dalian tested positive for Covid-19, General Administration of Customs official Bi Kexin informed media.

Rain Red Alert in Assam, Bihar and Many Other Northeast States: IMD
As per weather report, heavy rainfall is likely over many parts of North-east India over the next 3 days. India Meteorological Department has issued a Red alert in many states including Bihar, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Sikkim & Himalayan foothills in West Bengal. IMD said, thunderstorm and lightning are expected over parts of Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Jharkhand, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, northeast Rajasthan and north Chhattisgarh.

Coronavirus Latest Updates: 15-day Lockdown in Pune & Pimpri Chinchwad Areas from 13 July
Maharashtra Deputy CM, Ajit Pawar today said that a strict lockdown would be imposed in Pune as well as Pimpari Chinchwad areas from 13th July for the next fifteen days. The state also witnessed the highest number of Covid-19 cases in the country, with infection numbers increasing each passing day.
Union health ministry suggested the use of hydroxychloroquine in mild & moderate cases of Coronavirus but asked to avoid it in severe patients.

RPSC Main Result 2018: TSP & Non TSP Posts Results Declared
Rajasthan Public Service Commission has announced RAS Mains Exam Results 2018 on Thursday, 9th July 2020. Candidates who had appeared for RAS exam can check their scores for the TSP and Non-TSP posts, exams of which were held in June 2019. Rajasthan State & Subordinate Services Combined Competitive Mains exam was conducted on 25 June and 26 June 2019. RPSC has also released the cut off marks on its official website.
