    Incidentally, IoTechWorld Avigation is also India’s first drone manufacturer to have received Type Certificate (TC) from the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India on 14 June, 2022. Shankaranand Chowgule, a farmer from Maharashtra and also a customer of IoTech Avigation is the first beneficiary of this government scheme in the country. He received subsidy in the month of March, 2023. A number of other farmers too benefited from the scheme. This government scheme, under which a farmer who deploys drone for farming receives up to Rs. 4 lakh or the 40% cost of drone to the farmers, except agriculture graduates, SC/ST, North-East marginal farmers.

  • Delhi LG Announces Grape Cultivation Training for Qutubgarh Farmers; Distributes 1,000 Free Saplings

    The farmers of Qutubgarh village in North West Delhi will receive training in grapes cultivation as part of a series of developmental projects aimed at turning the area into a model village. On Thursday, Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena distributed 1,000 grape saplings to the villagers with the aim of promoting grape cultivation in the area and improving the financial stability of local farmers. The farmers will receive training in grape cultivation at Krishi Vigyan Kendra. According to Saxena, the plantation of grapes in Delhi also aims to improve the diversity of flora in the region. In addition to grapes, Saxena also distributed 2,000 guava saplings on Thursday. Saxena said that with the participation of local farmers, Qutabgarh can become a major producer of guava, which is currently imported from neighboring states, including Rajasthan.
