  • Greater Relaxations, Flexibilities in Lockdown 4.0 with Complete Reopening of Green Zones

    More relaxations and flexibility will be seen in the fourth lockdown that will start on Monday (18th May 2020, with gradual reopening of the railways as well as domestic airlines.  Officials said that the powers would be given to the States and Union Territories to define their hotspots. Government will give lots of relaxations in the lockdown 4.0 with complete reopening of the green zones and very limited restrictions in orange zones.

    Buyers from Australia, Japan and South Korea are turning to India for honey that they used to import from China, according to industry executives. Exporters told that the weaker rupee was also making Indian honey attractive for them. India exports 60 percent of its production to US, Canada, West Asia and Africa.

    The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has begun releasing the written exam result of different exams that were held before the Coronavirus lockdown was imposed in the country. UPSC had postponed all the recruitment activities during to the Covid-19 pandemic. Candidates can check the written exam results at the official website of UPSC - upsc.gov.in.

  • Board Exams 2020: CBSE to Announce Dates of Remaining Class X and XII Exams Today

    The Central Board of Secondary Education or CBSE will release the dates for the remaining examinations for Class X and XII today at 5 pm, informed Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal. The exams that were postponed due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic will be held in the first half of July.

  • Alert! Cyclone Amphan Could Intensify into 'Severe Cyclonic Storm' in next 24 hours, Says IMD

    According to Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), Cyclone Amphan is predicted to form by Saturday evening (16th May 2020) over southwest Bay of Bengal. It has also predicted of wind speeds reaching upto 55 to 65 kmph & gusting upto 75 kmph. People and fishermen have been asked to stay away from the sea.
