  • IMD Predicts Heavy Rainfall in These States On Nov 18

    The India Meteorological Department has predicted heavy to very heavy rains with extremely heavy falls over parts of South India on 18th November, with light to moderate rainfall over the week. IMD forecasts indicate a low-pressure area over the southeast Bay of Bengal, which is likely to move nearly westwards & reach west–central & adjoining the southwest Bay of Bengal off south Andhra Pradesh- north Tamil Nadu coasts on 18th November 2021.

  • Moderation in Financial Performance of Assam, West Bengal Tea Industry

    On 16th November (Tuesday), the rating agency said that the dual impact of declining prices & increasing costs is likely to lead to moderation, on a y-o-y basis, in the financial performance of the bulk tea industry of Assam & West Bengal are termed as a North Indian in the tea industry parlance.

  • Gujarat’s Dang to Declare 100% Organic Farming District

    The Tribal district of Dang in eastern Gujarat will be declared as a 100% organic farming district, as the state government has taken steps to encourage the farmers to avoid the use of chemical fertilizers & pesticides on the entire cultivable area, said the State Agriculture Minister Raghavji Patel.

  • Delhi Calls for Shutdown of Construction, Industries Ban in NCR

    On 16th November (Tuesday), Delhi Environment Minister Gopal Rai said that his government has proposed that Work from Home (WFH) should be implemented in the NCR regions to curb air pollution. The government of Delhi also purposed that construction work should be banned & industries should be shut too in the NCR.
