  • IMD: India to witness heavy rainfall from 17th-20th July

    The weather bureau said that the rainfall activity is likely to increase with fairly widespread rains in the next six to seven days over the western Himalayan region & Uttar Pradesh from 17th to 20th July.

  • Andhra Pradesh Government announces 135 Nominated posts for SC, ST, OBC & Others

    The Home Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Mekathoti Sucharitha & Backward Class Welfare Minister Chelluboina Srinivasa Venugopal Krishna on 17th July Saturday announced 135 nominated posts, in which 76 were allotted for the SC, ST, OBC & Minorities while 59 posts are for others. As many as 68 women’s have been appointed.

  • UIDAI warns Aadhar Card Holders: Beware of Fraudsters

    The Unique Identification Authority of India has cautioned Aadhar card users to be aware about the misuse of the 12-digit unique identification number. The UIDAI informed about the facility, that would help the Aadhar card holders to avoid any kind of Aadhar card fraud.

  • Delhi: Another Hike in Petrol price by 30 paise, Diesel price remain stable

    According to the Price notification by the oil retailers, there is another hike in the price of petrol for the tenth time this month, while the price of diesel remains unchanged on 17th July Saturday. The latest petrol price got costlier by 30 paise in Delhi.

     

  • Indian soya meal outpriced in global market, exports slump 50%

    According to Solvent Extractors’ Affiliation of India (SEA), the nation exported 25,918 tonnes of soya bean meal throughout June in opposition to 52,434 tonnes in Could, recording a decline of 57%. BV Mehta, Govt Director of SEA said, “India is now completely out priced for the export of soya bean as the common value jumped from ₹43,100 a tonne in November to ₹76,000 in July. Soya meal value has gone up from ₹36,100 a tonne in November to ₹65,000 now.

  • India - Bangladesh to Sign Trade Pact for Exporting 10 Lakh Bales of Cotton Annually

    The Indian Government will soon sign a Memorandum of understanding with Bangladesh to expand the cotton exports. The CCI to canalize export of at least 10 Lakh bales of cotton. The MoU is going to facilitate a government-to-government transaction. This Memorandum will be signed soon and will be handled by Cotton Corporation of India Limited.
