How Corona pandemic has affected nutritional support
A large number of organizations are not able to perform their daily tasks normally due to lockdown across the country during this Corona Pandemic. Government agencies supporting children suffering from malnutrition are among these. These agencies have been making every effort whenever they are permitted to complete their duties. The families of these children are advised on dietary patterns they must follow as some traditional eating patterns may lead to malnutrition.

Prime Minister's reply to a farmer from Nainital
Kheemanand, a farmer from Nainital wrote a congratulatory letter to Prime Minister, congratulating him on the success of his Government's farming schemes and policies. Prime minister has replied with thanks for these observations and encouragement. The crop insurance which was mentioned particularly in the farmer's letter, the Prime Minister continued is one of the efforts of government in aiding the farmers.

Over 70 Lakh farmers benefit from PM-KISAN scheme
Under PM-KISAN scheme Rs. 6,000 are to be distributed to all farming families which have income issues. This money is distributed in 3 installments of RS. 2,000 each over a year to these families and is intended towards meeting any expenses these families face.

Punjab CM asks Centre to withdraw the 3 farm laws
Punjab CM, Capt. Amarinder Singh has asked the Centre not to ignore the agitating farmers and respect their demands. He said the three laws that these farmers are protesting against must be withdrawn. He said government should bring the farmers into the loop and create new laws that the farmers agree to.

Weather expected to stay cool over Western Himalayas
Due to western disturbances and some cyclonic circulation light to moderate rain is expected over Western Himalayan region throughout the next week. There may be heavy rainfall or some snowfall during the middle of the week. Heat wave is not expected next week over India.

45 to 59 year olds are also eligible for Corona Vaccinations provided they match certain criteria. This criteria includes severely ill persons, whether physically or mentally affected and the deaf, blind.

Delhi CM to address farmers mahapanchayat in Haryana
Delhi Chief Minister, Arvind Kejrival may speak at the mahapanchyat to be held in April at Haryana. The CM has openly supported the farmers and even invited them to his offices for discussions.
