  • Millet Mart Ventures Celebrates IYoM Through National Conference on Rural Development and Millet 2023

    The National Conference cum Expo on rural development and millet took place at Talkatora Stadium in New Delhi today. Millet Mart Ventures Pvt Ltd in association with Liyan Agro Foods Pvt Ltd organized the event to promote the ‘International Year of Millets’. National Conference cum Expo on Rural Development and Millet organized by Millet Mart Ventures Pvt Ltd in association with Liyan Agro Foods Pvt Ltd eventuated in New Delhi today. The event aimed at the promotion of Millet-dependent agri-life with the larger idea of rural development.

     

  • Sugar Sector Declared Self Sufficient As Sugarcane Production Crosses 5000 LMT in 2021-22

    More than 5000 Lakh Metric Tons of Sugarcane were produced in the season of 2021-22 amongst which 3574 LMT was crushed in the mills for the production of Sucrose of 394 LMT. Out of 394 Lakh MT sugar about 36 lakh was further processed to make ethanol.

     

  • KVIC Chairman Distributes 300 Bee-Boxes in Karnataka's Malavalli District

    On his first day in this region, he distributed 300 Bee-Boxes with equipment and bee colonies as part of the Honey Mission programme implemented by KVIC, and he inaugurated the Electric Potter's Wheel training programme for skill upgradation of people engaged in potter's work as part of Gramodyog Vikas Yojana, in which about 40 trainees are participating at Malavalli.

     

  • PAU Issues Advisory for Farmers; Warns Against Upcoming Cold Wave

    PAU Ludhiana issued caution warning through ‘All Kheti Sandesh’ to farmers on this week’s bulletin on their website. For the coming week, weather is likely to remain cold and dry in Punjab. Ground frost conditions are a threat especially for the newly planted crops and vegetables. Farmers are advised to only provide light irrigation to crops as there remains conditions of frost formation. The vegetables are to be covered with thatches and smoke is advised to be spread in the fruit orchards.

     

  • PM Modi Distributes 71,000 Appointment Letters to New Recruits Under Rozgar Mela Today

    Under the Rozgar Mela, PM Modi distributed appointment letters via video conferencing to newly inducted recruits today across departments and organizations of the government. Rozgar Mela was launched by PM last year with the aim of providing 10 lakh jobs to the youth in the Central Government.
