  • Walmart Foundation Collaborates with S M Sehgal Foundation

    S M Sehgal Foundation announced the implementation of a two-year project on ‘Bolstering Farmer Producer Organizations in Uttar Pradesh and Karnataka’ with philanthropic grant funding of INR 70 million from the Walmart Foundation. The project will directly impact 10 FPOs in the states of Uttar Pradesh and Karnataka and reach out to 5,000 smallholder farmers (FPO members) and a population of 25,000 people.

    Bharat Certis AgriScience Ltd, a group company of Mitsui & Co., Ltd. (Mitsui) specializing in crop protection products announced has collaborated with Plantix, an e-commerce and crop advisory platform for farmers to sell their products on their app.

    Best Agrolife Limited has been granted the registration for the indigenous manufacturing of Tembotrione technical 94% 9(4) by the Central Insecticides Board & Registration Committee in the 439th meeting.     Amazon India has announced the launch of Smart Commerce, an initiative to transform local stores into Digital Dukaans and accelerate the company's pledge to digitally transform one crore small businesses by 2025.
