  • IMD Predicts Heavy Rains for 5 Continuous Days in these States

    According to India Meteorological Department, the southwest monsoon withdrawal from northwest India takes place, if there is the cessation of rainfall activity over the area from 5 continuous days. The weather department has predicted more rainfall activity in south Bengal as several low-lying localities & streets in metropolis & its adjoining areas lay submerged on an account of the previous year. It has noted the thunderstorms along with lightning & heavy rains may lash all the districts of south Bengal with the coastal south 24 Parganas, & its neighboring Paschim Medinipur to receive downpour.

  • Delhi Government Gearing Up to Prepare Bio-Decomposer

    To stop the stubble burning, which is leading to air pollution, the government of Delhi with the Indian Agricultural Institute, Pusa is gearing up to prepare the bio-decomposer capsules, which can be converted into a solution for spraying across the crop stubble in farmlands around the national capital. Once, the solution is sprayed on the fields, and then it will decompose the stubble into compost in just 20 days.

  • Wavi Police to Book 4 People for Milk Adulteration

    The Wavi Police of the Nashik Rural has booked 4 people for the milk adulteration on a complaint registered against them by the food safety officer of Nashik Food & Drugs Administration (FDA). According to the complaint registered with Wavi police station, the food safety officer, along with the other officials & panch witnesses, had been to a milk collection Centre in Pathare Village of Sinnar Taluka.

  • India Seizes Rs 200 billion Afghan Heroin Haul

    On 21st September (Tuesday), the Indian Officials said that they had seized nearly 3 tonnes of heroin, which is originating from Afghanistan worth Rs 200 billion amid the chaos following last month’s takeover of the country by the Taliban. Afghanistan is the world’s biggest illicit opiate supplier, since taking power, the Islamist Taliban said that they have the plan to ban the drug trade, without even giving details on how.
