  • IMD issues “Orange Alert” in parts of Nagpur districts of Maharashtra

    On 9th July Friday, the India Meteorological Department in regional center of Maharashtra issued “Orange Alert” and have warned of “heavy to very heavy rainfall along with thunderstorms & lightning in parts of Nagpur districts of Maharashtra.

  • 865.22 LMTs of Paddy Procured on MSP

    Paddy procurement in the ongoing season Kharif 2020-21 is going  smoothly in the procuring States with purchase of 865.22 LMTs of paddy  (includes Kharif Crop 707.78 LMT & Rabi Crop 157.44 LMT) upto 07.07.2021 against  last year corresponding procurement of 756.58 LMT.

  • Thiruvananthapuram district of Kerala reports “13 Zika Virus” cases

    The Thiruvananthapuram district of Kerala have reported a total of “13 Zika Virus” cases on 8th July Thursday. The samples of these were collected and sent to the National Institute of Virology, Pune.

     

  • First government school of Karnataka to be a part of Satellite Launch

    The Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka CN Ashwath Narayan said that the students of a government high school in Karnataka’s Malleshwaram are all set to become the very first state-run school in country to be a part of the programme to launch a satellite. The students will be launching 75 satellites as part of 75th Independence Day celebration, which will be held next year.

  • IMD: These 10 states to receive “Heavy to very heavy rainfall” from 9th to 12th July

    The India Meteorological Department predicted a light to moderate rainfall over the Northwest India from 9th July & isolated heavy rainfall over Ladakh, Punjab Jammu, Kashmir on 11th & 12th July.

     

  • Uttarakhand CM to take decision on Kanwar Yatra

    On 9th July Friday, the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand Pushkar Singh Dhami said that “Kanwar Yatra” is not one-state affair and state government will take decisions regarding the yatra after discussing with other states including Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Haryana.

  • IGNOU to launch “Certificate Course in Sanskrit”

    The Indira Gandhi National Open University launched certificate course in Sanskrit. In which candidates who wish to register for the IGNOU admission 2021 can apply online through the official website of the Indira Gandhi National Open University. This course will be available from July 2021 session.
