UP Lakhimpur Kheri: Farmers will hold Rail Roko on 18 October Seeking Ashish Mishra's Arrest
The Sanyukta Kisan Morcha (SKM) has called for a 'rail roko' on 18 October to protest against the Lakhimpur Kheri violence in Uttar Pradesh, which killed 8 people including 4 farmers.

IMD Predicts Heavy Rains in These States In The Next 3 Days
On 9th October (Saturday), the India Meteorological Department said that the isolated heavy to very heavy rains is expected over the coastal Karnataka from 11th to 13th October. North Karnataka is likely to receive heavy showers on 10th, 12th & 13th of October & Rayalseema during next 4-5 hours. There is isolated heavy rainfall is likely over Mahe & Kerala from 11th to 13th October. IMD predicts fairly widespread to moderate rain in the next 3 days in Maharashtra & Southern peninsular India for the next five days.

Crude Oil Price May Hike Up to Rs 6500 per Barrel
Price of Crude Oil breached $80 per barrel mark for the very first time since November 2014. This rise in the crude oil id due to the Sharp rise in demand while supply still remains tight. According to the Executive Direct at Broking, the crude oil prices on the Multi commodity Exchange may go on to hit Rs 6500 per barrel in the next 1 to 2 months.
