Prime Minister Narendra Modi had released the 7th installment under Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana on 25 December 2020. More than 9 crore farmers in India. PM Modi had transferred Rs 18,000 crores to over 9 crores farmers.
The central government provides financial assistance to the poor and needy farmers of the country through this scheme. Government transfers Rs 6000 to the farmers account every year in three installments. The aim of PM Kisan yojana is to help farmers of every state by providing them monetary help to do various agricultural activities.

Farmers of this state will also get benefit of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme
The good news is that from now farmers of West Bengal will also get the benefit of PM Kisan Samman Yojana as the Mamta Banerjee government has also agreed to implement this scheme in the state. This means farmers of West Bengal will also receive the eighth installment of PM Kisan scheme, which will be disbursed soon.
Banerjee on Monday said that she has asked the Center to share the details of all those who have registered themselves on the Central Government portal for this scheme. As soon as the Mamta government agreed to implement PM Kisan Yojana, Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar asked her to complete the necessary procedures. He also appealed to appoint a nodal officer.
PM Kisan 8th Installment Date and Details
The Centre will disburse the eighth installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana at the end of March. It is expected that this time farmers will get increased amount under the scheme.
